That was quick. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence just announced that an unclassified version of the Iraq National Intelligence Estimate’s key judgments will be released tomorrow at 12:30. Expect a grim report, as the NIE is titled, “Prospects for Iraqâs Stability: A Challenging Road Ahead,” but as we learned in 2002, there can be a huge difference in tone and substance between the classified and declassified versions — as well as the key judgments and the actual body of the NIE.
