This is fun: The folks at Democracy Now have posted Lewinsky scandal-era audio of host Amy Goodman asking Rep. Mark Souder (R-IN), “are you now or have you ever been involved in an extramarital sexual affair?”
At which point, Souder’s line goes dead.
Souder didn’t hire Tracy Jackson, the staffer with whom he had an affair, until 2004. But this segment, which also features then-Congressman Bill McCollum, now a GOP candidate for Florida governor, is still worth a listen. Souder announced Tuesday he is resigning.
