A new poll from the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute shows that state voters are split on recalling Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI), who pushed through a anti-union measure he argued was needed to curtail state budgets. 47 percent of voters want him to be recalled while 49 do not. Walker’s approval rating in the state is at 42 percent, with 56 disapproval.

On the national side, President Obama leads all this Republican challengers in the state by double digits. The closest GOP candidate is former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney, who Obama bests by eleven points.
