Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) told MSNBC on Wednesday that he only just learned that a former intern, who reportedly turned out to be a registered sex offender, was arrested earlier this month on an immigration violation. Luis Abrahan Sanchez Zavaleta, 18, was arrested on Dec. 6.
