Former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge endorsed Mitt Romney Wednesday.
“I’ve met accomplished and strong leaders in my life. Mitt Romney is one of them,” Ridge said in a statement. Ridge cited Romney’s experience in the private sector and his tenure running the Winter Olympics as reasons for his support.
Ridge was a two-term governor of Pennsylvania as well as a congressman for the state. Ridge previously supported Jon Huntsman.
