Former Arkansas governor and Donald Trump surrogate Mike Huckabee called the Republican nominee a “car wreck” on Friday morning.

“Trump may be a car wreck, but at least his car is pointed in right direction,” Huckabee wrote in a tweet. “Hillary is a drunk-driver going the wrong way on the freeway.”

Huckabee, who is known for his tortured Twitter analogies, endorsed the business mogul in May after his own bid for the White House failed. His daughter Sarah serves as a senior advisor to the Trump campaign and frequently appears on cable news on Trump’s behalf.

The former Arkansas governor has heaped criticism on Republicans who have declined to back the GOP nominee and defended him from questions about his support from white supremacists and call to ban Muslim immigrants from the U.S.
