Pushing back against an article in The Hill claiming that Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) ducked two questions from a reporter as to whether he stilll back Mitt Romney’s presidential run, Brown’s staff confirmed to TPM that his longtime support still stands.
“Senator Brown was one of the first to support Romney for President and will continue to do so because he is the best person to put America back to work,” Brown campaign spokeswoman Alleigh Marre said in an e-mail. She added that the campaign was working with The Hill to update their story.
