Romney Says His Tax Plan Maintains Progressivity Of Tax Code

Mitt Romney promised Sunday that his new tax plan will not privilege the wealthy or overburden the middle class. We have a progressive tax code now, “I’m not trying to change the progressivity of the code,” Mitt Romney said on Fox News Sunday. “It’s essential to me that middle income Americans don’t get hit with a bigger share of the burden…I’m cutting rates across the board by 20%.”
