Romney Camp Offers $1.6M ‘Reward’ For Missing Newt Docs

One of Mitt Romney’s latest salvos against Newt Gingrich has focused on his time working for the mortgage giant Freddie Mac. Gingrich famously insisted he was a “historian” for the company, while Romney has openly alleged that he was – in practice if not in name – a lobbyist and an “influence peddler.” The Newt camp must have hoped releasing the contracts would put this debate to bed.
