The Romney campaign is buying airtime in Illinois, reports Politico. Illinois is considered Romney-friendly territory, but a poll there last week showed him leading Rick Santorum by just 4 points, 35 percent to 31 percent. The Illinois primary is March 20.
Pro-Romney super PAC Restore Our Future is already on the air in Illinois, having bought time before Super Tuesday.
