Reuters reports that Merrill Lynch has reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit on behalf of 18 mortgage-backed securities trusts that will see the company pay $315 million.
Reuters reports that figure is “by far the most any MBS defendant has agreed to pay in a public settlement of investors’ securities claims.”
