In advance of President Obama’s State of the Union address tonight, the Republican National Committee has launched a new television ad attacking his record.
The spot will air in Washington, DC as well as the key battleground states of North Carolina, Virginia and Michigan.
The ad uses the President’s own words against him, including his assertion that he could be “looking at a one-term proposition” if he failed to improve the economy substantially within three years. The commercial then highlights continuing economic struggles and concludes that the state of the union today is “not better off” than it was four years ago.
