Report: NYPD Uses LRAD Sound Cannons Against Occupy Wall Street Protesters

Russian news outlet RT reports that its crew witnessed the NYPD using Long Range Acoustic Devices (sound cannons) against Occupy Wall Street demonstrators singing the national anthem near Lower Manhattan’s Zuccotti Park, which is still barricaded off. The report appears to confirm photos and reports posted to Twitter by those on the ground at the protest. In addition, several journalists have been reportedly among those arrested.
