Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney leads a new poll of Iowa from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling realeased Friday, 49 percent to President Obama’s 48 percent. A poll of the state from NBC News and Marist College released Thursday night showed Obama with a solid lead of 8 points, 51 percent to Romney’s 43 percent.
