CNN host Piers Morgan unleashed a barrage of attacks at Bill O’Reilly after he was criticized on-air Wednesday by the Fox News pundit.
During a discussion about MSNBC commentator Martin Bashir’s controversial comments on Sarah Palin, O’Reilly asserted that no host on Fox News would make such remarks. O’Reilly went further and said that no one on CNN would launch such an attack either, with the exception of “the guy in the 9 p.m. slot” who’s “going to be fired soon.”
It was a clear shot at Morgan, who recently called O’Reilly a “complete dick” over an awkward encounter between the two at a New York Knicks game.
Morgan wasted little time to respond, using his Twitter account call O’Reilly a “flaming hypocrite” and declare Megyn Kelly the “new star” at Fox News.
