Romney surrogate Tim Pawlenty admitted that when it came to the tax code, his plan cut loopholes and deductions is still vague on CBS’s “Face the Nation” Sunday — a charge Democrats and some in the media have been making for months. Pawlenty also said that in other areas, Romney was specific.
“So he hasn’t put out a specific plan to eliminate any of the particular deductions within the tax code,” Pawlenty said, “but he has talked pretty specifically about how he would reform, reduce and slow down government spending overall.”
