A Ron Paul campaign official has told Politico that the candidate has raised $8 million in the third quarter. Rep. Paul (R-TX) is expected to make the announcement during an appearance at the National Press Club shortly. He is expected to note that the campaign has over 100,000 donors—five times as many as Rick Perry.
