CNN has confirmed that Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) raised over $5 million in third quarter fundraising. That number is up from the $4.5 million that Paul raised in the last quarter. The bump bodes well for Paul’s campaign; fundraising numbers can be just as important as polls as a gauge of a candidate’s popularity.
