Following the traditional inaugural luncheon on Monday, President Barack Obama paid homage to the bust of Martin Luther King, Jr. on display in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol.
Monday marked only the second time in history that the presidential inauguration coincided with the federal holiday honoring the slain civil rights icon.
