President Obama on Monday condemned the Republican senators threatening to filibuster any new gun restriction measures so that they cannot be put to a vote.
“They’re saying your opinion doesn’t matter,” Obama said in a speech in Hartford, Conn. “And that’s not right. “
“We want a vote,” members of the audience chanted in response.
“We need a vote,” Obama said.
