President Barack Obama is “aware” of the murder trial of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, but is unable to take a position on the ongoing proceedings, White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Monday.
“The president does not and cannot take a position on an ongoing trial, so I won’t as well,” Carney said at the White House.
Gosnell, an abortion provider in Pennsylvania, stands charged with killing a female patient and seven babies, including the gruesome detail of severing their feet.
