President Obama is headed to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, where he will continue his tour of discussing his economic plans. And when he arrives, he will be greeted by a notable Wisconsinite: Gov. Scott Walker, who has become a national conservative star — and target of a recall campaign.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports:

Walker’s spokesman Cullen Werwie said Walker will meet the president at Mitchell International Airport and join him on the visit to Master Lock. Walker is not expected to make any remarks during the Master Lock visit.

As he did in his State of the Union speech, Obama is expected to credit Master Lock for bringing 100 jobs from China back to its Milwaukee factory.

Walker is the target of a recall election this year, after a signature campaign mounted by the state Democratic Party in a backlash against his anti-public employee union legislation and other parts of the state budget. Second only to the presidential campaign, it will likely be the biggest and most expensive race in the country.
