The New Jersey State Senate has approved a bill that would legalize same-sex marriage in the state, by a vote of 24-16 on Monday. The bill will now head to the state’s Assembly for a vote scheduled for Thursday, where it is also expected to pass. Gov. Chris Christie (R) is expected to veto the bill if it reaches his desk.
