NASA Mars Curiosity Rover To Debut New ‘Will.i.am’ Song

NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover, currently beginning scientific operations on the Red Planet, will serve as the official broadcasting platform for a new single by pop musician Will.i.am (best known for being a lead member of the group Black Eyed Peas). The new single, called “Reach For the Stars” will be played from the rover and streamed live on NASA’s website at 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday. 

At the same event, will.i.am will debut a “new science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics initiative” for students through his nonprofit foundation “featuring NASA assets such as the Mars Curiosity Rover,” NASA explained Monday.
