On Fox News Sunday, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels said that we are in a bad recovery and that President Obama cannot run on his economic record.
“If the president thinks he’s going to be running on an economic success story, he is headed for a rude surprise,” Daniels said. Daniels stressed that just because unemployment and unemployment insurance claims are down does not mean the economy is in good shape. “This is not a pretty picture and we ought not candy coat it,” he said.
