Not to be outdone by union protesters gathered at the statehouse in demonstrations against proposed “right-to-work” legislation, Michigan Republicans are reopening several campaign offices across the state in an effort to guide the bill to final passage, the Detroit News reports:
Today and Tuesday, the Michigan Republican Party is reopening campaign offices in Livonia, Bloomfield Hills, Utica, Howell, Lansing and Grand Rapids for volunteers to call lawmakers who voted for the bills and encourage them to follow through on Tuesday.
