McConnell Calls On Reid To Bring Up House-Passed Bill To Avoid Fiscal Cliff

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Friday called on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to bring up a House-passed bill to avert the fiscal cliff. The House bill would extend tax rates for everyone for one year. “Why don’t we take it up here, and let’s get this done,” McConnell said. “It’s called legislating. That’s what we used to do in Congress.”
