McCain Adviser: Libya Question Hurt Romney

Steve Schmidt, a top adviser to McCain’s 2008 campaign, said on MSNBC after the debate Tuesday that Mitt Romney’s misstep on the Libya question during the debate — in which the moderator pointed out that he was wrong — was his worst moment of the night. He also said that it “undermined his veracity on other issues” even when he was right.
