NBA legend Magic Johnson on Tuesday praised commissioner Adam Silver’s decision to fine and ban Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life in wake of racist comments he made to his girlfriend.

“Commissioner Silver showed great leadership in banning LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life,” the Hall of Famer said on Twitter. “Former and current NBA players are very happy and satisfied with Commissioner Silver’s ruling. Current and former NBA players now know that in Commissioner Adam Silver we have a great leader leading our league. Now let’s hope that the other 29 owners do the right thing.”

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban also tweeted Tuesday that he agreed “100%” with NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s decision.
