Hoyer: ‘Stakes Are Too High’ To Argue About Payroll Tax Cut Politics

Rep. Steny Hoyer is responding to a Republican press conference, saying the “stakes are too high” to argue the politics of a payroll tax cut extension. Echoing the same language used by Republicans moments ago, Hoyer said the lack of a tax cut extension creates “uncertainty” for the American people.
