On Fox News Sunday, Romney surrogate Gov. Bob McDonnell and Gingrich surrogate former Rep. J.C. Watts debated why their candidate was electable and able to beat President Obama. They each stuck to their candidates talking points. McDonnell dismissed Romney’s gaffes and stressed his record as governor of Massachusetts. Watts defended Newt’s ability to win the primary and took a stab at justifying his harsh attacks on Romney.
