Fusion host Alicia Menendez was pretty excited to begin six years worth of castration references for incoming Republican Iowa Senator Joni Ernst.
“She’s going to be the first woman to represent Iowa in the U.S. Senate, and she’s going to be seen by many as a rising star within the GOP. And we all want to see her go to Congress and chop their balls off,” Menendez said Tuesday night, referencing the Ernst ad in which she talks about her experience castrating hogs.

WTF is “Fusion” and why is it getting mention on TPM?
Good question. I’m also curious why it’s news that somebody said the word “balls” on TV. Kinda adolescent to make a thing of it.
Not-pretty-enough conservative harpy with British-esque dental issues yammers about castration to vent her pent up frustrations over not being able to land a good lay because misogynist GOPer/Teatroll men are in it for themselves and don’t care whether she comes or not. Story at 11.
BTW, it must be a great fucking time to be a GOPer/Teatroll with an hispanic last name if you’re looking for air time and spotlight, eh? It’s like an automatic promotion to whatever position will get you in front of a camera to create the appearance of lots of hispanics being GOPers/Teatrolls. OUTREACH!
well, if not for the ‘castrating hogs’ bit, joni would still be shoveling shit in that hogpen instead of heading to wdc as a senator. the media still can’t get enough of that quote. and you just watch them make her the next media star… who hopefully will flame out just like palin and bachmann.
Fusion headquarters: OK, we have a Smith, a McCartney and a Menendez to host our show, which one do we hire?
