Facebook’s head of games partnerships, Sean Ryan, on Wednesday posted a job opening for Strategic Partner Manager in Games. Facebook wants the hire to “become the primary point of contact for and maintain strong direct executive relationships with Facebook’s key partners.” The move comes after Facebook recently severed some of its ties with its major gaming partner Zynga, maker of “FarmVille” and “Words With Friends,” leaving room for Facebook to develop its own games. The posting seems to indicate Facebook still wants to work with third-party companies like Zynga on Facebook social games.
