Now @CNN is upset that the returns that they have been dying to get their hands on for 18 months are out but it doesn’t fit their narrative!

Trump refused to release his tax returns throughout the 2016 campaign and after his election. He claimed that he was under audit, but admitted in September 2016 that he could release his taxes at any time but implied he saw no political advantage to doing so.
Last week, White House press secretary Sean Spicer said that Trump is still under audit and would not say whether Trump will release his taxes for the current year.
The White House nevertheless confirmed the numbers in the tax return moments before Maddow’s show aired on Tuesday night.
After reporter David Cay Johnston revealed the returns on Maddow’s show, Trump said that Johnston’s account of finding the documents in his mailbox was “FAKE NEWS.”
“Does anybody really believe that a reporter, who nobody ever heard of, ‘went to his mailbox’ and found my tax returns?” Trump tweeted on Wednesday morning.
