Trump: ‘I Just Don’t Know’ If Carson Has Been Honest

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said Sunday that he didn’t know if GOP rival Dr. Ben Carson has been honest with some of the stories he’s told throughout the course of his campaign.

Carson’s honesty was again called into question last week when Politico initially disputed a statement about West Point that Carson had made in his book.

Trump was asked on CNN’s “State of the Union” if he thought Carson hadn’t been honesty.

“I just don’t know. I mean, I’m not involved,” Trump said. “I don’t really know. It’s a lot of things. When you say though hitting your head over the head with a hammer when you talk about hitting your friend in the face with a lock — padlock. And you talk about stabbing someone and got stopped by a belt buckle. Which, you know, belt buckles don’t really stop stabbings. They turn, twist, and things slide off them. So you know, it’s pretty lucky if that happened.”

“Ben wrote a book and the book is a tough book. He talked about he has pathological disease,” Trump continued. “It’s a serious thing. As I understand it, you can’t really cure it. But he said he had pathological disease. I would assume the book was written prior to him deciding to run for office. But, they had pretty tough statements in the book.”

Trump also addressed the back-and-forth on ABC’s “This Week,” where he called the incident “very strange.”

“It’s a strange situation when you talk about hitting your mother on the head with the hammer,” Trump said.” “It’s a weird deal going on and I hope it all works out because I don’t want to see Ben have problems over this stuff.”

  1. Reading Drumpf’s comments, one thing is obvious. He is taking elocution lessons from Wasilla Kardashian.

  2. Wow, the things Tramp just don’t know…

Yep, one thing for sure - his inability to form a coherent sentence is no “act”.

Trump played it low key in today’s shots likely keeping the killing strokes safe and wrapped in satin until debate time but Dr. Carson’s latest low-info Passion Play is concluding, as luck and a bad press would have it, with a good old-fashioned, snake(press)-banishing crucifixion and resurrection. Say, “Hallelujah!”, and pass the pyramid full of dark money!

  5. Carson is a serial fabricator. That much has been proven.
