Appearing on CNN’s Situation Room on Thursday afternoon, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) said the choice for his replacement in the Senate ultimately lies with Gov. Nikki Haley, and that he trusts her judgment on whoever that may be.
“She’s got a tough choice, but I’m convinced she’ll give me someone as good or better than I am I can pass the torch to,” DeMint told Wolf Blitzer.
