After a female reporter from RealClearPolitics asked Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) about a paternity test showing the daughter he reunited with late in life wasn’t actually his, Cohen reportedly replied, “You’re very attractive but I’m not talking about it.”

Back in February, Cohen was caught tweeting with a 24-year old aspiring model during the State of the Union address. After much speculation, Cohen revealed that the woman in question, Victoria Brink, was actually his daughter he discovered a few years ago.

A paternity test released Thursday determined that Brink wasn’t actually his daughter, however, which Cohen said he was “stunned” and “dismayed” to learn.

The RealClearPolitics reporter, Caitlin Huey-Burns, later tweeted that Cohen offered an apology for the comment.
