American Bridge, a democratic super PAC, is launching an effort called “Correct the Record,” which will seek to bring truth to any controversies surrounding potential democratic candidates for president in 2016, the Washington Post reported Friday.

The campaign will be run by two prominent Hillary Clinton supporters: Burns Strider, a former advisor to Clinton, and Susie Tompkins Buell, a Clinton donor.

David Brock, founder of American Bridge, said in a statement that the effort will try to correct conservative narratives.

“In this early period, ‘Correct the Record’ will aggressively challenge false right-wing attacks before they take hold and expose the fraudulent sources of these attacks to the public,” Brock said in the statement.

Hillary Clinton has the most to gain from this effort, as she has taken a huge hit from the right on how she handled the aftermath of the attack on an American consulate in Benghazi. Clinton’s favorability has dropped significantly in recent months, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.
