Condoleezza Rice: ‘No Way’ I Will Be VP

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said there is “no way” that she will be Mitt Romney’s vice presidential pick in an interview on CBS’s “This Morning” Tuesday. Rice said her strengths lie in policy, not politics.

“I didn’t run for student council president. I don’t see myself in any way in elected office. I love policy. I’m not particularly fond of politics,” Rice said.

When pressed, Rice was adamant. “I’m saying there is no way that I will do this, because it’s really not me. I know my strengths, and Gov. Romney needs to find someone who wants to run with him,” Rice said. “It’s not going to happen.”
