As businessman Herman Cain continues his surge in the Republican Presidential Primary, he’s locked in a battle with former Mass Gov. Mitt Romney for the top spot nationally. Last week an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll showed Cain up by four points, and on Monday CNN released a survey showing them essentially locked: Romney with 26 percent of the GOP faithful and Cain with 25.

Former frontrunner Texas Gov. Rick Perry is down to 13 percent, having led the field by double digits in the CNN poll just a month ago.
