Chris Christie addresses a gathering Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, in Keansburg, N.J., of residents whose homes in Keansburg, were heavily damaged by Superstorm Sandy. Christie says he understands the frustration of Superstorm Sandy victims who still have not gotten their homes or their lives back together 15 months after the storm. Chris Christie held another post-bridge scandal town hall on Tuesday in New Jersey. And once again no one asked him about the scandal. He did, however, get a standing ovation.

According to WNYC, the crowd in Berkeley Township, N.J. appeared to be “overwhelmingly Republican.” And after an audience member asked him about Obamacare, the Republican governor’s replied: “Elect a new president.”

That inspired a standing ovation and, according to WNYC, “the most resounding applause of the day.”
