Two-term Idaho Gov. Butch Otter narrowly defeated state Sen. Russ Fulcher in Tuesday’s GOP primary, according to the Associated Press.

The Idaho primary made waves last week when two long-shot gubernatorial candidates’ remarks at a debate garnered national attention. Fulcher later accused Otter of demanding that the fringe candidates participate in the debate in order to divert attention from Fulcher and from his own record as governor.

Who wouldn’t vote for a guy named Butch Otter? The imagination just runs too wild. It makes you wonder what Fem Otter would look like. Especially out there with the potatoes and the “straight” guys with the wide stance. It might be different if I lived there and had to live with their policies.
