Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal suggested he would use the IRS to attack Planned Parenthood during Thursday’s GOP debate for lower-tier candidates.

“I guarantee you under President Jindal, January 2017 the Department of Justice and IRS and everybody else we can send from the federal government will be going into Planned Parenthood,” Jindal said

It’s no surprise that Jindal took a tough stand against Planned Parenthood, given that he cut off state Medicaid funds to the organization over an anti-abortion video sting campaign.

But the use of the IRS to go after one’s political adversaries has been a major criticism of Republicans against President Obama, as Republicans have accused the IRS under the Obama administration of targeting Tea Party groups.
