Liberal comedian Bill Maher says Republican politicians view foreign policy from the prism of proving their manliness.

“You hear that a lot in this country. The two parties are the same. Two peas in a pod. Not when it comes to war, and that’s the most important issue,” he said Friday night on his HBO show “Real Time With Bill Maher.”

“Thank the God I don’t believe in that President John McCain isn’t in the White House, or President Mitt Romney, or any of these Republicans who always want to either get into a war or start some shit to show whose dick is bigger.”

The comedian and political commentator was rebutting conservative criticisms of President Barack Obama regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
