Apple Event Livestream Begins at 1 p.m. Eastern

Apple’s October 23rd event at the California Theatre in San Jose, California, widely expected to be the unveiling of a new, smaller iPad nicknamed the “iPad Mini,” kicks off at 1 p.m. EDT and will be livestreamed online via Apple’s website, though the stream requires Apple’s browser “Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later.”
