After months of minimizing the pandemic and more than 200,000 American deaths, President Trump announced in a middle-of-the-night tweet that he and the First Lady have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • The Trumps' positive tests came after senior White House adviser Hope Hick began showing symptoms and tested positive.
  • The President traveled to New Jersey Thursday after learning that Hicks had tested positive.
  • Trump has checked into Walter Reed.
  • Their positive tests come a month before the election.
