With President Donald Trump skipping the October 15 town hall, Joe Biden’s campaign has called for the town hall to be held on October 22, the day that was supposed to be the final debate.

The Trump campaign has agreed, but now it’s also demanding an extra debate on October 29. However, the Biden campaign isn’t having it.

  • The Biden campaign called for the town hall to be moved to October 22 “so that the President is not able to evade accountability.”
  • The Trump campaign agreed with the proposal but demanded an additional debate on October 29 because “the CPD and the media cannot hide Joe Biden forever.”
  • The Biden campaign retorted that Trump’s “erratic behavior does not allow him to rewrite the calendar, and pick new dates of his choosing.”
