Several Republican lawmakers are pushing back on President Trump’s refusal to commit to a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the election in November. However, the GOP reactions pouring in fail to directly name Trump.

“Well, we’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump said Wednesday evening when asked whether he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power.

    It’s not conceding anything to say you will agree to follow the established process. Except, of course, for conceding your “right” to win at any cost.

  5. Scott Walker is answering a question that was not posed to Trump (“Will you commiit to conceding the election on November 3 if the results clearly show Joe Biden as the winner?”).

    He is glossing over the fact that Trump was specifically asked whether he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power and refused, while stating explicitly that he was against “the ballots”.
