A federal appeals court has granted former President Trump’s request to halt the release of documents to the Jan. 6 select committee, but in doing so the court also fast-tracked the appeal, setting oral arguments for later this month.

The National Archives was due to comply with a subpoena from the panel and release an initial batch of documents on Friday. That has now been put on hold.

  1. Very important happenings, indeed.

Veterans Day…juxtaposed with hiding important documents from citizens

  2. Thanks to All Veterans today.

Let us ever be mindful of each and every sacrifice made, on behalf of the American people, by our sons and daughters, husbands and wives, mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, and friends.

We are reminded, everyday (especially now,) how fragile a hold we have on freedom and liberty; for those who have served in defense of the rest of us, we thank you, and will never forget the debt you are owed by a grateful nation.

    Peace, and welcome home.

  3. Juxtaposed with T****

U.S. troops wounded by Iranian missile strikes on air bases in Iraq who were discouraged from applying for a Purple Heart medal while Donald Trump publicly minimized their injuries will now have their Purple Heart applications processed

Whether his original statement was made with mistaken information or deliberate, what happened is disgusting. I guess Cadet Bone Spurs prefers veterans who weren’t wounded.

  4. The film Thirteen Days had graphic and compelling narrative of this very thing. The irony is that, while the deterrence John F. Kennedy had to include was weaponry… our deterrence falls to outvoting the Republican Party and out-maneuvering Trump’s lawyers.

No person who lived through the Cuban Missile Crisis could have imagined fighting, 59 years later, our fellow citizens for our own freedom.

  5. This I guarantee: Biden will do something like take out a handkerchief to sneeze or something and the howls of outrage will echo miles into the sky. Cognitive tests! I’m so ashamed for my country! It’s a body double! Look at these pictures of the real Biden’s earlobes and look at this one from today! Yadda yadda yadda yadda yadda!
