After President Donald Trump encouraged supporters to march to the Capitol and demonstrate against the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral victory, hundreds of supporters ran up to the Capitol Building and clashed with police, leading to chaos and arrests.

Eventually, supporters of the President breached the Capitol Building itself, leading lawmakers to barricade in place and prompting police to draw their guns inside the House chamber.
